Meet the Hosts

Kiya Williams is continuing as host of the sixth season of the SOTA Pop Podcast. As a host, her goal is to connect with a broader audience and discuss how the arts impact all of our lives. She is a sophomore majoring in Cinematic Arts and Theatre with a concentration in Acting for the Stage and Screen. Kiya has been awarded for speech and diction by AISA, winning First Place in District and Second Place in State. She has also been awarded multiple times in the theatre. Kiya is a part of the SOTA Student Leaders and is a member of their Rep Board as Student Leader President. |

Grayson Waggoner is a producer and co-host for the SOTA Pop Podcast. He is a junior at UNA with a major in Cinematic Arts and Theatre and a concentration in Filmmaking. He is passionate about educating as well as entertaining students about SOTA. His filmmaking specialties include writing and editing, though his ideal project would be writing, directing, and starring. His honors in film include being a finalist for Best Microfilm for the All-American High School Film Festival and winning the Yellowhammer Award for Best Writing in the Yellowhammer Film Festival. He has worked on many UNA film sets, both student and teacher, and on the set of the Muscle Shoals-based film Sweetwater Road. Grayson also has an incredibly dedicated passion for both theatre and acting. He has been in many shows and won numerous awards, including Best Supporting Performer at the Southeastern Theatre Conference.
